Important Notice
We
are pleased to announce that the Office of Professional Regulation, including
all licensing boards and advisory professions, will upgrade to a new licensing
computer system beginning the week of February 9th. Due to this transition,
processing of licenses and other requests will take up to 2 weeks longer
than usual during the month of February. We will not issue licenses on
February 5th, 6th or 9th. Additionally, licensee information on our website
will not be updated from February 4th through February 10th. Please plan
accordingly. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make

I. Verification of your license, certification, registration
II. To Verify that someone is a licensee, certificant, registrationIf you are a licensee, certificant, or registrant, and you would like written verification of your license, certification, or registration sent to a third party (e.g. another state) , this is what you must do.
Send your request to the Office of Professional Regulation, Attn: (Specific profession), National Life Bldg., North FL2, Montpelier, Vermont 05620-3402, and include the following:
*Your written request, and
*a check in the amount of $20.00 (payable to Secretary of State), and
*include any forms to be completed (if applicable)
If you would like to verify whether someone is a licensee, certificant, or registrant go to our Individual Search. If you would like us to send you written verification follow the instructions in Paragraph I.
