International Nurses:

As of October 1, 2009 all new International Applicants who hold a CGFNS Certificate or a Visa Screen Certificate must also obtain a Vermont specific CES report.

As of July 1, 2009 all new International Applicants are required to obtain a Credentials Evaluation Service Report from either of the following companies:

Checking Your Application Status:

If we have received your application or any documents for your file after February 9, 2009, your application status can be found here. You will be notified via email when a change in your status (approval or deficiency) has occurred. Otherwise, click here to check on your application.

If you are represented by an Agency, contact them for information PRIOR to contacting the State of Vermont. All information concerning your application file will first be conveyed to your agency if you have chosen to be represented during the application process.  Agency representation is not required to apply to the State of Vermont.
