International Nurses
As of May 15, 2012, the Vermont
State Board of Nursing will be unable to accept applications without a valid US
Social Security Number. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Checking Your Application Status:
April 2012 - The current processing time for international applications
is 60 days from the day it is received in the Board of Nursing office. Please
do not call to check on the status of your application until 60 business days
have passed.
If you are represented by an Agency, contact them for information PRIOR to contacting the State of Vermont. All information concerning your application file will first be conveyed to your agency if you have chosen to be represented during the application process. Agency representation is not required to apply to the State of Vermont.
Please note that your CES report is only available to this office for a period of ONE YEAR. Therefore your application must be submitted within that one year timeframe.
